Christopher G. Rogers

Chris is a native of Traverse City who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan (2004) and a Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (2009). He also attended Tsinghua University School of Law in Beijing where he studied world trade, intellectual property law, and technology licensing.

Chris is admitted to the Illinois State Bar Association (2009) and the State Bar of Michigan (2010). He is also a member of the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association.

Chris became a full partner with Kuhn Rogers PLC on January 1, 2016. His legal career is focused on estate planning, business succession planning, real estate law, and general civil practice.

Chris is married to another Traverse City native, Lindsey Rogers (née Jonkhoff), who is a co-owner of Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, and a sixth-generation funeral director. Chris and Lindsey and their two sons, Harvey and Carson, enjoy active time outdoors – especially golfing, skiing, and hiking.

Chris is the President of The Estate Planning Council of Grand Traverse Area (2023 to 2025), the President of the University of Michigan Club of Grand Traverse (2023 to 2025), and past President of The Economic Club of Traverse City.
