Mallory King

Mallory King joined Kuhn Rogers in 2026 after establishing a successful solo practice and specializes primarily in intellectual property law. Mallory is passionate about helping clients big and small protect, defend, and navigate their intellectual property rights. Results oriented, Mallory has successfully helped clients search, register, and maintain hundreds of trademarks; eradicate harmful cybersquatting; remove infringing online content; acquire, understand, and enforce copyrights; protect valuable company trade secrets; curate brand usage contracts and license agreements; draft website agreements, including terms of use, privacy policies, and copyright policies; negotiate brand coexistence; and navigate complex settlements. Mallory also has experience in commercial contracts, internet law, and litigation assistance.

Mallory understands and appreciates that a business’ intellectual property can be some of its most valuable assets and should be handled with care. As a lawyer, Mallory strives to be authentic, transparent, and reliable, frequently establishing friendly rapports with her clients. Mallory also enjoys staying active in the local community, serving on the bar association board, participating in the growing startup scene, and guest speaking at Northwestern Michigan College.

Born and raised in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan, Mallory returned home after law school where she now lives with her husband, stepson, and corgi. In her downtime, Mallory enjoys yoga, ballet, bowling, horror movies, Spartan sports, cooking, gardening, and enjoying all the seasonal offerings of beautiful Northern Michigan.
