Attorney Terry C. Rogers is a partner in Kuhn Rogers PLC and has been practicing law in Michigan for over 50 years. He brings to the table a wealth of experience and knowledge for the benefit of the firm’s clients. Terry’s practice centers primarily around the areas of estate and business succession planning, taxation, probate, and corporate and partnership law.
A native of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Terry attended Michigan Technological University before graduating from Michigan State. He earned his law degree in 1970 from Wayne State University Law School, later receiving a Master of Laws in Taxation after several years in practice.
Early in his career, Terry served as a law clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan from 1970 until 1972. From 1973 to 1978, he served as the City Attorney for Grand Blanc, Michigan while also working in private practice in Flint, Michigan.
Since moving to Northern Michigan and becoming a partner in the firm now known as Kuhn Rogers, Terry has been deeply involved not only in the legal community but in serving the Traverse City community at large. He is a member of numerous local organizations in which he brings his legal knowledge to bear for local businesses and the public.
